Ministry to Men

Welcome to our Ministry to Men

The purpose of the Cedar Crest BFC Ministry to Men is to create a culture of male oriented discipleship. Where men are encouraged, challenged and equipped to live Christ centered, biblically grounded lives that positively affect all areas of their lives.

We provide opportunities for men to get together and build into one another’s lives. Bible Studies, hiking trips, wing nights, breakfast, scrapbooking – well maybe not scrapbooking – but there are many activities available for the men of Cedar Crest.

Board Game Night

Friday, March 28 | 6:30pm – 10pm in Chapel

Please bring games and snacks! Fathers are more than welcome to bring their sons.

Men’s Getaway

One of the main highlights of the year is our Annual Getaway (Friday, May 30 – Sunday, June 1).

We escape for a weekend to the beautiful backcountry of upstate PA to worship together, be sharpened under sound teaching, and hang out and enjoy God’s creation.

DOTT

Discipleship on the Trail

Discipleship on the Trail (DOTT) is a yearly backpacking trip with a group of men from Cedar Crest and other churches. If you enjoy hiking and camping, consider joining them for fellowship and teaching out in God’s creation!

Date: July 10 -13 (practice hike on May 10)

If interested, request to join the Group and receive communications by going to “Unique Groups” on Church Center or contact Paul Younger.

Bible Studies

Like last year, we will be offering two Bible studies starting this Fall: Tuesday morning and Wednesday evening. Both will be studying at the same pace, so you won’t be behind or ahead regardless of which one you attend.

Join other men as they study the Psalms. You can attend at any point in the year!

RISE UP (Tuesdays @ 6:15am – 7:15am) | The Hub

WEDNESDAY EVENING (6:30pm – 8pm), Room 42/44

Mentorship

As men who seek to become more mature disciples of Jesus Christ, we should be sharpening one another through one-on-one relationships. One practical way of doing this is mentorship.

Sign up to become a mentor or mentee. (P.S. You can do both!)
