Prison Care Package Build
Saturday, December 13 @ 9am | Activity Center
We are seeking 60-70 volunteers to come help build care packages for inmates at the prison in Waymart, PA. In previous years, inmates have written Cedar Crest with notes of appreciation for these basic necessities and gospel tracts.
Members Meeting
Sunday, December 14 @ 8:45am | Worship Center
The Elders are implementing Quarterly Members Meetings starting Sunday, December 14.
These meetings will occur on the 12th week of our Discipleship Institute Trimesters (fall, winter, and spring). This makes four meetings if you also include the Annual Congregational Meeting in January/February timeframe.
Christmas Caroling & Children’s Drama
Friday, December 19 @ 6pm | Fellowship Community
Please join us Friday, December 19 at 6pm for a night of Christmas Caroling and Retelling the story of Christmas in a brief children’s drama at Fellowship Community (enter in the main entrance marked “Manor”).
Please arrive promptly at 6pm for dress rehearsal (especially if your child wants a part in the play). Songbooks will be provided for the carolers!
Christmas Eve Service
Wednesday, December 24 @ 6:30pm | Worship Center
Join us for our Christmas Eve Service, which will feature a Handbell Choir (prelude at 6:15pm), the preaching of God’s word, a children’s choir, and singing by candlelight.
Start of Winter DI Trimester
Sunday, January 4 @ 8:45am
Registration for the Winter Trimester of Discipleship Institute is now open! It will feature some new faces (Ben Schleicher) along with new courses (such as Church Planting and Revitalization). We trust you’ll find something to cultivate deeper discipleship in your walk with Christ.
Marriage Conference
Saturday, February 28 @ 9am
Mark your calendar for Marriage: Faithfulness in a Fallen World, a conference sponsored by our church with P&R Publishing.
Jim Newheiser is the guest speaker, a published author and widely reputable figure in the field of biblical counseling.
