Mission
To create a culture of evangelism in our local church by equipping our members through biblical teaching and modeling of evangelism & discipleship, providing opportunities to serve in the Lehigh Valley.
Vision
To fulfill the “local” expression of the Cedar Crest BFC mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ, seeing the church faithfully share and live out the gospel in every aspect of our daily lives. Our vision for local outreach is to present the message of eternal life through faith in Christ and to serve the needs of the Lehigh Valley community.

The Cedar Crest Local Outreach Team wanted to compile a resource that would help us as a church family be creative and intentional with sharing the gospel with the lost in 2021!

Kids Clubs
This summer, during the month of August, we will hold multiple small one-week kids clubs at different parks in our communities! These clubs will be for kids aged pre-K to 5th grade for the purpose of sharing the good news of Jesus with them and with the desire for YOU ALL to build relationships with families with kids in your neighborhoods.

If you’re interested in learning more about this initiative this summer and how you can serve, come to our informational meeting on Sunday, May 23rd after the service where there will also be free pizza provided! Please see the Local Outreach Promo Table outside the children’s exit after service on Sundays.

Street Evangelism
We have many opportunities to help and encourage you in sharing the gospel and your testimony with others. Join the Local Outreach team as they go out in the streets and parks of Allentown.

Allentown Rescue Mission – https://www.allentownrescuemission.org/ – ARM provides rescue, rehabilitation and restoration for homeless men in crisis through Christ-centered programs based on accountability and compassion.
Bright Hope Pregnancy Support Center – https://brighthopecenters.org/ – Bright Hope’s caring staff and volunteers take time to talk with women, men, and youth encouraging them to ask questions and get honest answers in a trusted environment.
Child Evangelism Fellowship – https://www.cefglv.org/ – CEF exists to share the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ with boys and girls and to involve them in a local church where they can be trained and taught the Word of God.
Hope Allentown Community Church – https://allentownhopechurch.org/ – A church plant in Allentown whom we partner with in various outreach capacities to reach children and families for Christ.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes – https://wearefca.org/ – FCA impacts coaches and athletes with the gospel of Jesus Christ through local huddles and regional sports camps.
New Life In Christ Aftercare Ministries – https://newlifeinchristacm.org/ – A ministry whose purpose is to provide support and connections for women who have been or are incarcerated in Lehigh County of Pennsylvania to help them establish new life patterns and successfully re-enter society.The body of Christ working together to provide loving support and training in godliness that those who enter our care might be transformed from destructive life patterns and firmly established in godly living.
Push the Rock – https://pushtherock.org/ – PTR is a local and global sports ministry proclaiming the life-changing message of Jesus Christ through the pursuit of excellence in sportsmanship and athletics.
Victory Valley Camp – https://www.victoryvalleycamp.org/ – VVC is a Christian children’s camp owned and operated by the Bible Fellowship Church providing summer day and overnight camp programs as well as winter camp.
